Tiara L. Gantt, Counselor
Tiara Gantt joined CDI in January 2010 after having worked at the Robinson Career Management Center at Georgia State University. While at GSU, she served as a Career Counselor and Adjunct Faculty member to students within the College of Business. She provided individual career guidance and support throughout the career exploration process.
She attended Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA where she worked in the University Career Center and received a B.A. in English. After receiving her M.Ed. in Counselor Education with a concentration in Higher Education from Virginia State University in Petersburg, VA, Tiara worked as an Academic Advisor.
Tiara is an alumna of the James Farmer Scholars Program at the University of Mary Washington, an academically rigorous enrichment program for “at-risk” students in Caroline, Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania and Westmoreland counties. She is also a member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling and the Potomac and Chesapeake Association for College Admission Counseling, the National Association for Colleges and Employers (NACE), the Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Academic & Professional Honor Society International (CSI), and a graduate of the NACE Management Leadership Institute for Career Services Professionals. |
