Wendy Ayala

Director, Scholars Program

 

Wendy Ayala joined the CDI team in October 2016. She is a CDI Scholar alum, having been a member of the Class of 2011. She graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County with a degree in sociology and anthropology and Notre Dame of Maryland University with a master’s degree in non-profit management. Prior to joining CDI as the administrative assistant, Wendy worked in career serves in the Mayor’s Office of Employment Development for Baltimore City. She currently serves as the director of the Scholars Program.

Wendy also serves as a member of the ad hoc committee for the Potomac & Chesapeake Association for College Admission Counseling (PCACAC) board and leads the PCACAC Latinx Special Interest Group (SIG). Additionally, she is an active member of her community serving as a member of Montgomery County’s Victim Services Advisory Board, and is a member of Radford University Admissions Advisory Board.
