CDI has become a moving force in the Washington, DC area for raising the aspirations of many gifted, low-income young people there...It is unfortunate that thousands more low-income students cannot take advantage of this valuable program.

-The late John A. Blackburn, Dean of Admissions (1979-2009), University of Virginia

CDI has been a great learning experience for me. We have a real partnership that encourages me to work to my full potential.

-Wendy Avelar, Cornell University, College of Engineering, Class of 2011
