At CDI, we recruit high-achieving, low-income students. We develop their academic and leadership potential through our rigorous program, which includes foundational skill building, study skills strategies, problem-solving, leadership training, and personal growth. This serves them and those around them, including their peers, parents, and siblings. Their success inspires a college-bound culture, raising the bar for everyone. Our partners are Montgomery County Public Schools, selective four-year colleges and universities throughout the country, national and regional college counselors' associations, and community organizations. These relationships position us to leverage our expertise as counselors and educators to help CDI Scholars find the right college fit and realize their potential. We also work with our Scholars' families to help them navigate the college admission process, including applying for, interpreting, and negotiating financial aid packages. Our work continues until our Scholars successfully graduate from college.
