CDI is a non-profit organization committed to closing the education, achievement and opportunity gap for low-income, primarily first-generation-to-college students. We provide comprehensive college counseling, targeted tutoring, test preparation, study skills, leadership training, and ongoing support, starting in eleventh grade and continuing through successful college graduation.
Our Mission is:
- To identify and support low-income, primarily first-generation-to-college students and help them to plan for, apply to, attend, and graduate from a selective, four-year college
- To build leaders and scholars by mentoring students in their personal and academic development
- To leverage CDI’s expertise in educational and college counseling by offering cost effective consulting and training assistance to public school systems and education-related organizations
