Dickinson College
Bonners Scholar

Jaime Hur is a third year student at Dickinson College in the natural sciences department.   She aspires to pursue a career as a scientific researcher or doctor upon receiving a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry.  A native of Korea, Jaime understands that mastering this rigorous course of study will not come without dedication and hard work.

She holds the office of Program Director for the Dickinson Pre-Health Society, in addition to serving as a teaching assistant for introductory biology and chemistry courses. Her interest in research has afforded her the opportunity to work with some of the world’s leading scientists as a summer intern at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Jaime is also an active member of the Third Degree Steppers; a student-led organization that embraces the dynamics of stepping in order to express energy, creativity and uniqueness to the Dickinson community.  In her free time, she enjoys playing classical guitar, piano and is an avid reader of books on philosophy and religion.
