CDI, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, depends on the donations of individuals, foundations and corporations that believe low-income, first-generation-to-college students should have equal access to higher education. CDI does not charge any fees to Scholars, their families, high schools or colleges. CDI's goal is to match Scholars with the right college, the best financial aid package, and the vital ongoing support to insure retention and successful graduation from a selective four-year college. For every dollar invested by our donors to run CDI, our Scholars earn $6 in scholarships and merit aid. That's a 600% return on investment!
